Bad: Mike is still sick. It's sad. He needs to kill those viruses. He just keeps coughing and blowing his nose and laying around and I feel so bad for him.
Good: I made really good apple-oat bars last night. I got the recipe out of Vegetarian Times. It turned out soooo good!
Bad: I slept through Statistical Dynamics this morning.
Good: Dr. Bohn is going to give me some software I can use for analyzing data I get from Jim at Fermilab, for my master's thesis.
Bad: I have to TA at 8 am tomorrow morning.
Good: Since Mike is still sick, he won't be going to work tomorrow night and we can hang out and do homework together and watch a movie.
Bad: I ate a couple oreos and some cheesy bread and I feel kind of icky now.
Good: Amanda and I worked out three days in a row this week. We're hardcore. We're training to be Connie's bodyguards against creepy guys at bars. :)
Bad: Homework and the test I took last week in Phys 570
Good: I'm going to go watch Tommy Boy now while I work on new homework. |

OK, so I haven't updated much in the past. But the times, they are achangin'. So you should maybe start reading this more often. Anyway.
I got a haircut today, my first professional haircut since the summer of 2002. It's not a big change, but it just feels sooooo much healthier and less scraggly.

And keep in mind that the before picture was taken at a party, when I was taking an unusual amount of time on my hair, curling the ends, etc, so generally it looked quite a bit crummier, I just didn't have any recent pictures where I was wearing it down besides that one. |

First enemy: Elizabeth Cary, maybe. This girl I went to kindergarten with who was a big snob.
First big trip: Bahamas with my mom and dad, when I was two. Apparently I was all social, at these outdoor cocktail parties I'd be going up to strangers and talking to them and dancing. Some things never change...
First concert: Technically, Whitney Houston, when I was four. But REALLY, The Black Crowes, when I was 13. Sigh...amazing.

Last time scolded: hmmm... i'm sure last time i was home my mom had something to say about the way I leave my shoes in irritating places around the house.

Right now my only hope is that Bush was taken over by the Black Oil recently, and therefore Bush isn't our president, but rather some scary alien thing is. I think it would do a better job.

I hope that he chokes on a pretzel again, except this time he dies, and as he dies he gives one last cough and it shoots out of his mouth and into Cheney's and he chokes and dies too and it's just a chain reaction of all the evil people who should not run this country choking on old mushy pretzel and dying. Yeah. So there's always hope. Grrrrr. |
